Tier

The AI accountability coach that reaches out first

Visit

You don't quit your projects. You just slowly disappear from them. Every tool you've tried — Notion, habit trackers, accountability partners — waited for YOU to show up. Tier is different: an AI coach that reaches out first. It knows your goal, remembers where you left off, and tells you the one thing to do today. Built after interviewing 20+ people about why they abandon their goals. Validating before building: 30 founding memberships, $49 one-time, first year included, 30-day money-back guarantee.

Features

  • Proactive daily check-ins — the coach messages YOU first, personalized to your actual goal
  • AI goal breakdown: year → quarter → month → week → today's one thing
  • Honest weekly reviews — what worked, what slipped, what changes (no cheerleading)
  • Persistent memory — it knows where you left off, restarts without the guilt trip
  • iOS & Android from day one

Use Cases

  • Builders finishing side projects instead of quietly abandoning them
  • Anyone whose yearly goals die by week 3 — despite systems, trackers, and good intentions
  • People who bounced off Notion, Todoist, and habit trackers
  • ChatGPT-as-goal-coach users hitting its memory limits

Building Tier — an AI accountability coa...

Maker here 👋 Tier started with my own graveyard of projects. I had a goal I cared about, a system, even a tool — then I missed a few days, and going back felt like confronting how long it had been. The tool just sat there, waiting for me to open it. We interviewed 20+ people before writing any code. Almost nobody fails from laziness — they fail because every tool waits. So Tier is the reverse: an AI coach that reaches out first. Daily check-ins written about YOUR goal, honest weekly reviews, no cheerleading. We're validating the uncomfortable way: 30 founding memberships ($49, first year included, money-back guarantee) before we build. If 30 people buy, it gets built. If not, it dies. Brutal feedback on the offer is exactly what we're here for. And I'm curious: what was your last project that just… faded?

I really like the idea of helping creators monetize their expertise without requiring calls or lengthy courses. The asynchronous Q&A approach is practical for both creators and buyers. One question: are there plans to support team accounts or collaboration for businesses and agencies in the future?

Inverting it so the coach reaches out first is the part that actually addresses why habit trackers get abandoned, since they all wait for you. Do the check-ins adapt if someone keeps missing them?

Cool!! How long did it took you to build it??

Tier has great potential! A few improvements could make it even better. I'd love to share my feedback and suggestions. WhatsApp: https://wa.me/447307349530 Telegram: t.me/rforrank

I'm definitely trying this out!

Brilliant... The tool that reaches out to me is just what I need. Looking forward to the launch announcement. I'm on the list.

Hi Fazier 👋. I'm Habib, a normal develo...

This is a really clever concept! Most productivity tools just sit there waiting for you to open them, so having an AI coach that actually takes the initiative and reaches out first sounds incredibly useful for staying on track. Love the clean aesthetic too. Congrats on the launch!

Cool ideea, I'd love someone "smacking" me over the head everytime I'm about to give up on a project.

Really interesting concept — proactive AI outreach is something most accountability tools miss completely. Most tools wait for users to come back but you're flipping that model which is smart for retention. Have you considered adding integrations with calendar apps so the AI knows when users have free time to work on their goals? Would make the check-ins feel even more timely and relevant!

I like the idea of this product because it directly targets those people who do not have easy access to communication or have the ability to trust people to hold them accountable. I just hope the AI sounds as human as possible so the user does not feel like they are talking to a wall.

The "reaches out first" bet is the whole thing here. Most habit and accountability apps die quietly because the user has to remember to open them, so a coach that initiates is the right lever to pull. The hard part is cadence: too little and it fades into the background, too much and people mute it within a week. Does the outreach timing adapt to how someone actually responds over time, or is it a fixed schedule to start?

Interesting approach inverting the traditional task list.

The proactive outreach angle flips the whole accountability game. Most goal tools are passive - you open them when you remember, which means you never open them. Having an AI that reaches out FIRST with a single specific action cuts through the decision paralysis that kills side projects by week 3. The persistent memory + honest weekly reviews (no cheerleading BS) is also a massive difference from Todoist-style systems where you just mark things done without reflection. This legitimately feels like a coach vs a checkbox app.

It perfectly addresses the pain point of giving up halfway. The AI remembers my goal progress and gives clear daily tasks, and the 30-day refund guarantee makes me feel secure to try it.

The "reaches out first" premise is the real differentiator here, but it's also the thing that gets muted or ignored fastest if the timing or tone is off, imho...

Love the inversion here - instead of making users open yet another app, Tier reaches out first. That proactive nudge solves the activation energy problem that kills most goal trackers. The fact that it remembers context and breaks down year-to-day timescales addresses the biggest friction point: forgetting what you even committed to three months ago.

The proactive check-in is the genuinely different part, especially the persistent memory after someone misses a few days. How will Tier decide when to push versus back off so the reminders do not become another notification users learn to ignore?
