Hi, I'm David Oliver, owner of Bumpkin. As an experienced polyglot developer, I see the same development process issues over and over in different arenas costing teams valuable time. I believe that the way that we approach software development is, in most cases, horribly inefficient to its core. Development of real applications can and should be simpler. Existing solutions focus on the problems that are the most fun to work and that give the appearance of creating a working app quickly but don't deal with the real issues that arise when building a business quality application. Worse, many of these problems have known solutions which are never applied. I started Bumpkin to build tooling that propels you, the developer, forward by generously applying known solutions and innovative ideas to synthesize elegant tools, allowing you to tackle problems that should be simple with unprecdented facility and tackle hard problems rapidly and without distraction.
