It will be good if you take photo of the receipt and upload to platform

Really like the focused approach. Instead of trying to become an all-in-one home inventory app, I'd keep the core value around receipts and warranties. That's a clear pain point and easy for users to understand. One feature I'd love is automatic OCR to extract product name, purchase date, store, and warranty details from receipt photos to reduce manual entry. Also, if you later expand, I'd add optional integrations (like cloud storage or email receipt import) rather than turning it into a complex inventory manager. Nice work!

I built Receipt & Warranty Vault because receipts and warranty documents usually get lost exactly when people need them for repair, return or warranty service. The goal is to keep the app simple: save the product, attach receipt or product photos, track the warranty date, get reminders, and export or back up the records when needed. I would appreciate feedback on the positioning: should this stay focused on receipts and warranties, or should it move closer to home inventory and service documentation?

This looks like a cool tool. does it connect with your bank accounts to track the spending etc?
