Hey everyone! 👋 We started building Wisegrid.co after seeing how many growing teams still rely on spreadsheets to run important projects, not because spreadsheets are perfect, but because they’re flexible and familiar. Our goal is to keep that familiar grid experience while adding the things teams eventually need: dashboards, Gantt views, forms, automation, approvals, reporting, AI, and cross-sheet workflows. We’re especially focused on project-driven teams that have outgrown Excel, Google Sheets, or complex Smartsheet setups but don’t want another heavyweight enterprise tool. We’re still learning and improving Wisegrid.co, so I’d genuinely love to hear what you think, especially about the workflows you still manage in spreadsheets today.

Status pages are critical infrastructure that often get forgotten until something breaks. The real win here is removing the friction of manually updating status - having it auto-generate from your systems means it stays current without extra work. SaaS teams hate busywork during incidents, and this eliminates that overhead. The self-updating angle is the insight that makes this different from standard status page tools.

"Your status page builds itself" is a great hook — the roll-up dashboard that respects permissions is genuinely the painful part of running projects out of spreadsheets, and bolting it onto the grid instead of a separate BI tool is the right instinct. The Smartsheet migration with formula translation is a bold claim, and honestly the feature that would make me switch. Question: how does it handle Smartsheet-specific functions that don't map 1:1 — things like CHILDREN()/ANCESTORS() hierarchy formulas or their contact-list columns? Does the importer flag untranslatable formulas for review, or does it best-effort convert and let you discover breakage later? That distinction matters a lot when you're migrating a live ops environment.
The combination of cross-sheet formulas, live dashboards, and permission-aware shared views is a strong bridge for teams outgrowing spreadsheets. For the 1,000,000-cell sheets, do dashboard rollups and AI formula recalculation run incrementally, and can admins audit which rows were exposed through a personalized view?
