VideoToShorts turns a long video into a vertical short. Paste a YouTube, TikTok or Facebook link, or upload a file. It transcribes the video, you highlight the lines you want, and it exports a 9:16 clip with burned-in captions and no watermark.
The transcript alone is free without an account, five a day. A free account gets three welcome clips. After that, clip packs start at $13.50 for 50 clips, or a monthly plan from $13.

Reading a transcript is faster: you see the whole talk as text, mark the lines, and get a 9:16 clip with captions. The hard part turned out to be fetching YouTube at all. Data center IPs are blocked, so the worker pulls only the byte range it needs through a residential route. Transcripts are free without an account, and a free account gets three clips.
