Find Your Customers By Their Technologies

Visit

VersionDB is a technographic and contact database that helps you find customers by the technologies they use. It crawls over 50 million websites and detects stacks across CMSs, ecommerce, analytics, payments, and more, then pairs them with on-site contact details and social profiles. The Lead List Exporter delivers a CSV by email with no subscriptions or accounts required.

Features

  • Technographic search across 50M+ websites, tracking thousands of technologies (CMS, ecommerce, analytics, payments, marketing tools, JS libraries) down to version numbers
  • Require/exclude tech filters, e.g. Shopify stores running Klaviyo, or WordPress sites without Yoast SEO
  • Contact data from the site itself: emails, phones, and 11 social platforms (LinkedIn, X, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Granular contact classification that separates hosted, free and external email, and business from personnel, so you can filter for decision makers rather than info@ inboxes
  • Keyword filters on domain, page title and description, in “require all” or “match any” modes
  • Location and context filters: IP country, ASN/host, approximate country, language
  • Traffic rank per domain
  • Freshness filter to limit results to a date range; the data comes from a monthly crawl
  • Free search that shows the match count before you pay anything
  • Pay-per-row, one-off exports: $10 for up to 500 rows, then $15 per 1,000, dropping to $0.60 per 1,000 at volume
  • No account, subscription or credits: you pay through Stripe and the CSV (35 columns) arrives by email automatically
  • Free Lead List Exporter tier

Use Cases

  • SaaS/app vendors prospecting companies that use a complementary tool, e.g. a Klaviyo add-on targeting Shopify + Klaviyo stores
  • Competitive displacement: finding sites on a competitor’s product, or sites missing a tool you sell (WordPress without an SEO plugin)
  • Agencies and freelancers finding outdated stacks to pitch, such as old PHP versions or ageing WordPress/WooCommerce installs
  • Local and niche lead gen: home services, real estate, legal, wellness and similar, via keyword plus country filters
  • Reaching decision makers by requiring personnel LinkedIn profiles or personnel emails
  • Market sizing and TAM checks, since the free match count answers “how many companies run X in country Y?”
  • Hosting/infra sales using ASN and host filters, e.g. sites on GoDaddy or Namecheap
  • One-off campaigns for teams that don’t want a BuiltWith/Apollo-style subscription
  • Data resale or enrichment through the licensing option
