Interesting concept! I like how TinyOut focuses on simplifying the user experience. Curious to see how it evolves.

I like the idea, but the website seems down. It's currently returning 401

What a great tool to plan activities near home. Very nice!

Hi makers! tinyout started from a simple problem: finding something to do with a toddler in NYC meant checking dozens of studio, library and museum sites every week. We now pull thousands of dated events and classes across greater NYC into one free, daily-updated calendar you can filter by neighborhood, age, category and price. Happy to answer questions about the scrapers or what we have learned about local-event data.

Daily updates for toddler events in Greater NYC are hard to keep reliable since venues change schedules constantly. How does tinyout source and verify the listings, and what's the typical lag between a venue posting an event and it showing up on the site?

The by-neighborhood and age filters are what make this useful; generic event sites bury toddler stuff. Any plans for a saved search that emails you new free events near you each Thursday? That would make it a weekly habit.

The filters are what make this genuinely usable — being able to narrow by neighborhood, age band, and price in one place beats checking five different studio pages one by one. The today and this-weekend views are also the right default, since toddler plans usually get made the same morning over coffee.

Love the idea and the site is beautiful

This is really useful to plan activities. Great work!

Congrats on the launch ! Small hiccup : when I click on an activity on the home, I get a full page 403 error (This request was blocked 403 Forbidden cdg1::7f7ss-1791826409053-65c2645aa48e) Good luck 👌
