My journey began with a personal need for a more efficient way to manage my tasks. Balancing work, personal life, and various projects often felt overwhelming, and existing tools either lacked comprehensive features or were too complex to use effectively. Identifying the Problem: I noticed that many people, including myself, struggled with keeping their tasks organized across different aspects of life. There was a need for a solution that could seamlessly integrate work tasks, personal activities, health routines, and more into one cohesive system. Prototyping and Testing: I started by creating a basic prototype in Notion, testing it with my own tasks. I iterated on the design, adding features like category-specific sections, multiple views (Calendar, Kanban, Table, List), and automated archiving to streamline the task management process. User-Centric Design: Throughout the development process, I kept the end-user in mind. I wanted the template to be flexible enough to cater to different needs, whether someone is managing a team project, planning a personal event, or tracking their wellness journey. Adding the option to include subtasks ensured that users could break down larger tasks into manageable steps. Final Product: The final result was the Notion Template Task Coordinator, a comprehensive solution designed to help users organize, prioritize, and complete their tasks efficiently.
