TapMap

A social network built on maps: where to go and with whom

Visit

Every social network is a feed. Life isn’t — it happens in places. TapMap is a social network built on maps: where to go right now, and with whom.

Open the app and you see your city as it is right now: places worth going to, events happening today, and your friends who chose to share where they are. Swipe through a deck of places picked for your taste, save the ones you like into your own maps, and share those maps with friends or make them public.

We’re starting in Thailand — Phuket, Bangkok, Pattaya, Samui, Chiang Mai — with more countries coming. Free on Android and on the web at tapmap.net, in English, Russian and Thai. iOS is in beta.

Hi Fazier! I'm Yurii, I live in Phuket. Map apps tell you what is nearby, but not what is worth choosing right now, or who you could go with. So we built TapMap: a social network where the map is the feed. Places, events and friends on one live map, your own maps to share, and a cat companion that suggests where to go. We started with Thailand and more countries are next. It's free on Android and the web. I'd love your feedback: what would make you open it on a Friday night?
