Talkfirst gets you speaking a new language from day one, without studying grammar first. You talk out loud with an AI partner in everyday scenes (a café, asking the way, a courier at the door) or on your own topic. Afterwards you see where you paused, what went wrong and a more natural way to say it. Languages: English, Polish, Lithuanian and Czech, with explanations in English, Russian or Ukrainian. It runs in the browser, in Telegram and as an MCP connector in Claude, all on one account. Free plan: 35 voice minutes a week.

Hi Fazier! I'm Nik, the maker. Talkfirst started from a simple frustration: most apps make you study grammar and tap through exercises long before you say anything out loud. Here you talk first. Pick a scene (a café, asking the way, a courier at the door) or your own topic and talk to an AI partner by voice. Afterwards you see where you paused, what went wrong and a more natural way to say it. Polish and Lithuanian are there because many people move to Poland and Lithuania and need to speak, and often pass an exam. So there are mock exams: Lithuanian A2, the Lithuanian Constitution test and Polish B1 speaking. I'm preparing for the Lithuanian one myself. Honest limits: the voices are synthesized, pronunciation scores come from speech recognition rather than a phonetician, and exam grades are a forecast, not the real exam. One question for you: does feedback after a conversation help more, or would you rather be corrected on the fly?
