Sutra Vedic

Sutra Vedic is a browser-based Vedic astrology app at sutravedic.com. You enter your birth date, time and place, and Sutra calculates your sidereal birth chart with the Swiss Ephemeris, using the Lahiri ayanamsa. The chart itself is standard astronomical calculation, not AI.

The free plan includes your basic chart, your Moon nakshatra and daily transits, which compare where the planets are today with your natal positions. Sutra Pro costs $9.99 a month and adds a Vimshottari Dasha timeline: the 120-year cycle of planetary periods, showing which period you are in now and what comes next.

AI is used only for the written parts: chart readings, Dasha readings, daily transit and horoscope text, and the Oracle, where you can ask questions about your chart. Times are worked out for your birth location and time zone, so the app works for people living outside India too.
