Sudoku Mori is a calm daily sudoku for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo, made by one developer.

Three new puzzles every day: Valley, Ridge and Summit. When you get stuck, a hint first shows where to look and then explains why the number fits, instead of filling it in for you. Each daily you solve grows that day's tree in a small forest.

No ads, no account, works offline. Out on the App Store on 1 December 2026.

Hi, I'm Georgi. I built Sudoku Mori on my own. I play sudoku most days. Most apps I tried either showed ads between puzzles, or their hint button just filled in a number for me. That never helped me get any better. So in Sudoku Mori a hint first points you to the right part of the grid. If you're still stuck, it explains why the number fits there, and placing it is up to you. When a technique is new, there's a short lesson for it, from the easy ones up to X-Wing. Every day there are three new puzzles, Valley, Ridge and Summit, and each one you solve grows that day's tree in a small forest. It runs on iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo, works offline and needs no account. It comes out on the App Store on 1 December.
