How are recovery and device migration handled if someone loses the device or forgets the PIN? A clearly documented encrypted export and restore flow would make it easier to trust with long-term records.
Not linking bank accounts is the right call for a subscription tracker, since that is where most people hesitate. With no bank feed, how do you handle price changes at renewal, for example a SaaS tool going from $9 to $12? Is that something the user edits by hand, or does the 12-month renewal radar flag it in some way?
Not having to link a bank account is what would make me actually try this. I stopped using two trackers because of that step. The 12-month renewal timeline is the part I'd use most: annual renewals are the ones that surprise me. Do you let people mark a subscription as "cancel before renewal" and remind them a few days earlier than the charge?
Not linking a bank account is a real selling point, and showing per-currency amounts next to the converted total in the demo makes that clear. The friction with manual tracking is the first setup, so a CSV import (or pasting a list from a spreadsheet) would help people bring 20 subscriptions in at once. Does the renewal alert handle free trials, with a reminder a few days before the trial converts? That is the charge people forget most.
Thank you for developing this app—it looks great and has a lot of potential! I did notice that I couldn't set a default currency, so I had to manually change it each time I added a subscription. Additionally, while I think this is a handy tool, I'm personally trying to avoid adding another recurring subscription to my routine. I wouldn't be able to justify fifty dollars a year for it, though I would gladly pay a one-time fee of that amount (or potentially a bit more) for a lifetime purchase. Thank you for all your hard work on this!

A question on the PIN-encrypted vault: a short PIN is easy to brute-force offline if someone gets the encrypted blob, so the strength depends almost entirely on the key derivation. Which KDF and how many iterations do you use (PBKDF2, Argon2)? Allowing a longer passphrase as an option, and saying plainly in the docs what a lost PIN means, would make the "your secrets never leave the browser" claim much easier to trust.
