Hey, makers here. We built this because the thing we needed didn't exist. UNiDAYS and Student Beans are basically retail coupon walls you have to log into, and GitHub's pack is great but it's one list that hasn't changed much in years. Nobody was actually going out, finding the student discounts nobody talks about, and keeping track of whether they still worked. So we started doing it ourselves. The part we care about most is the stuff you'd never find on your own. Everyone knows about the Spotify and GitHub deals. But there are tools quietly giving students free credits, full Pro plans, year-long trials, and they don't advertise it anywhere you'd look. Those are the ones we hunt for and put front and center. And we keep checking them. Deals die, codes expire, a tool drops student pricing without telling anyone, so we go back through and re-verify, pull the dead ones, and flag where each deal actually works since half of them are region-locked. The list isn't a one-time scrape that rots, it's something we actually maintain. No account, nothing tracked, we're not collecting emails. Just open it and look. If you know a deal that belongs on here, or you hit one that's dead, tell us. That's the most useful thing anyone can do right now.
The country-filtering approach is genuinely useful — most student discount aggregators are US-only and don't bother flagging it, so you waste time clicking through dead links. Surfacing what actually works in your country is a real differentiator. One feature that would make this even stronger: a "last verified" timestamp on each deal so students know how recently someone confirmed the link and code still work. Expired deals with no indication they're dead are the biggest frustration with every discount site I've seen. Has that been considered?
