We started StoryTree around a pretty simple problem: sometimes the person a child wants at bedtime just can’t be there. Parents work late, travel, or live away from their children for periods of time. A regular audiobook can tell a story, but it doesn’t sound like Mom, Dad, Grandma, or Grandpa. StoryTree lets families record their own stories or create personalized stories with AI and have them narrated in a familiar voice. We’ve also kept the experience private and parent-controlled, with child profiles, guardian-managed content, and no third-party ads. The part we care about most isn’t generating more content. It’s helping a familiar voice remain part of bedtime, even from miles away. Would love to hear what you think.
