SPEC24

AI client hub for small agencies and freelancers

Visit

Spec24 is an AI client hub for small agencies and freelancers. Clients submit and track requests through a simple portal, while your team manages everything on an AI-powered Kanban board. Client feedback is automatically translated and turned into clear, dev-ready specs, so nothing gets lost between what the client asked for and what the team builds. Built for teams that have outgrown email and spreadsheets but do not want the complexity of ClickUp or Jira. Free for clients, flat pricing for teams of 1 to 10.

Comments

Hey everyone, founder of Spec24 here. This started from a problem I kept seeing with agencies and freelancers: a client sends a vague message like "the checkout feels off," and it turns into a chain of back-and-forth emails before anyone actually knows what needs doing. Half the context gets lost, and if the client and the team speak different languages, it gets worse. So we built Spec24 around one idea. Clients get a simple portal to submit and track requests, and on the other side you get that feedback automatically translated and structured into a clear, actionable task on a Kanban board. The messy part happens once, at the start, instead of leaking into every step after. It works the same whether you are a solo freelancer or a small team, it is free for your clients, and the pricing is flat instead of per seat, because the people we built this for did not want another tool that charges more every time they add someone. Would really value feedback from other founders, agencies, and freelancers here. If you have ever lost time to "what did the client actually mean," I would like to hear how you deal with it now.

This feels genuinely useful for small teams. Turning messy client feedback into clear, dev-ready tasks could save a lot of back-and-forth, especially for agencies still managing everything through emails and spreadsheets.

The "vague client message → five emails of back-and-forth" problem is painfully real for anyone doing solo or agency work. The interesting bet here is trusting the AI to turn that into a dev-ready spec — my one genuine question: does the structured spec get shown back to the client for confirmation before it reaches the developer, or is the AI's interpretation taken as final? A misread intent feels riskier than the original vague message. The built-in cross-language translation is a smart touch though — as someone building a multilingual product, that's usually the part teams bolt on badly.

The client portal combined with AI-powered project management is a smart idea. I especially like how client feedback is turned into clear development tasks, which can reduce misunderstandings. It would be great to see integrations with more third-party tools in future updates. Great work!

Love how this solves the messy client feedback problem. The AI turning vague messages into dev-ready specs is genuinely useful, and the free client seats make it easy to get buy-in. Clean alternative to the bloated tools. Nice work.

Finally, a tool that actually bridges the gap between "client said X" and "dev built Y" without forcing us into enterprise hell.

> Turning scattered client feedback into clear, dev-ready specs feels like the most valuable part of SPEC24. It addresses a real gap between client portals and project management tools without adding unnecessary enterprise complexity. Automatic translation is especially useful for distributed teams. I’d be curious to see how it handles conflicting requests and specification revisions.
