Shutap is an AI joke generator for content creators and comedians. It doesn't write generic one-liners about "cats" or "Mondays." It works from your real material — something that actually happened to you — and turns it into a bit structured the way comics build one: a hook that stops the scroll, a setup, tags that keep the laughs coming, and a button to end on.

How it works

1. Write your story in the box. No account needed for your first bit.
2. Pick the audience (social, live, office, work, family, school), the voice (deadpan, storyteller, roast, dry), the length (15s, 30s, 60s, 2m) and the heat (1–5).
3. Get the bit. Then steer it: hotter, tighter, escalate, or mix in your own lines.
4. Run it in the teleprompter and film — or view it as a scene or a screenplay page.

Built around how comedians actually work. Shutap treats the output as a first draft you shape, not a finished script you read off. Find a tag, a callback or a new direction, rehearse it on the prompter, and keep every version in your set list.

What to post today. Every morning the homepage picks a rising topic from public coverage and writes a demo bit on it, so you're never staring at a blank page.

The funniest. A daily series breaking down the techniques of famously funny people, written for creators who want to get better at it.

Private by default. You use a made-up Shutap name, and names, addresses, places, phone numbers and emails are removed from your story before anything is saved. Bits stay private unless you post them.
