Visit

Seedance 2.0 is a web-based AI video generation tool that converts text prompts, images, or audio into short videos.

It focuses on a minimal workflow — users provide an input, select a generation mode, and receive a rendered video without needing traditional video editing tools.

Rather than acting as a full video editor, Seedance 2.0 positions itself as a fast generation layer for turning ideas or assets into visual output.

Hi everyone 👋 I’m one of the makers behind Seedance 2.0 — thanks for taking a look. The idea started from a pretty common frustration: video is increasingly important, but most tools still assume you want to edit, not just generate. We wanted to see what would happen if we treated video creation more like an API-style workflow — input something meaningful (text, image, or audio), get a usable video back, and iterate from there. Behind the scenes, a lot of the work went into balancing speed, quality, and simplicity. We intentionally avoided building a full timeline editor and focused instead on making the “first video” fast and accessible. That trade-off shaped many of our design decisions. We’re still early and learning a lot. I’d especially love feedback around: Where the output feels most useful (or not useful) What kind of control you wish you had during generation How tools like this might fit into real creative or production workflows Happy to answer questions and discuss — appreciate any thoughts or honest feedback 🙏
