SaveNowX

One thing worth clarifying is how the SaveNow browser shortcut behaves on posts with multiple videos or an embedded video inside a thread. Does it let you choose which one to save, or grab the first? Also, is there any file name pattern so saved clips stay sortable?

That should be useful!

Does it pick the highest-quality version X offers, or the default stream? Some downloaders grab the 720p version even when a 1080p one exists, which matters if you're saving something to rewatch on a bigger screen.

Congrats on the launch. I run a small TikTok downloader, so the awkward cases I think about most are failures. When a post is deleted, private, or the platform changes something, what does the user see: a clear reason, or a generic error? One small suggestion: a short line reminding people to save only videos they own or have permission to use. It’s minor, but it sets expectations for a tool like this.

The browser shortcut is the detail that makes this usable day to day - pasting into a box gets old fast. Worth checking: does it handle quote-tweets and reposts where the video actually belongs to a different account? That's where most X downloaders quietly produce the wrong attribution, and on a tool whose whole job is saving someone else's media, that matters more than download speed.

The way Download X videos free is explained here feels pretty natural, and Congrats on the launch makes it feel less generic. When I circle back, family photo editing will be easy to grab.

Very useful for long videos you want to watch later
