Hey everyone! 👋 I'm excited to share ResumeStart with the Fazier community. I built ResumeStart because creating a great resume is still harder than it should be. Many resume builders focus on templates, but people often struggle with what to write, how to optimize for ATS, and how to tailor their resume for each job. ResumeStart helps you go from a blank page to a polished, job-ready resume in minutes. You can generate resume content with AI, match your resume to a job description, check ATS compatibility, create cover letters, and export a professional PDF that looks exactly as expected. Whether you're a student applying for your first job, switching careers, or an experienced professional, the goal is simple: spend less time formatting and more time getting interviews. I'd love to hear your feedback, ideas, and feature requests. Thanks for checking out ResumeStart and supporting the launch! 🚀
Resumestart has great potential! A few improvements could make it even better. I'd love to share my feedback and suggestions. Email: [email protected]
Hi Tariq, This tool looks great. I actually need my resume updated, and this is more more friendly feeling than the last "free resume builder" I used. I only started a resume, so I may have more updates for you later, but so far so good. I like th overall color scheme and found a few if the "tips" messages were actually easy to read (often my own tooltips appear small and hard to read, so if nothing else I learned a tip. One thing I did notice you may think about is the dropdown in Job title section. I only noticed the prefilled options, which there are several, but you may want to also add user inputs. Example my current job (I hate it!) is and Insurance Sales Producer. Very specific, but for that industry hiring managers will like to see that. Great job so far.

The hardest part of job searching has always been the resume tailoring piece. Most people send the same resume to every role, but ATS systems and hiring managers are screening for specific keywords and role-aligned bullet points. Spending 15-20 minutes customizing each resume for the right keywords is tedious but it genuinely moves the needle on getting interviews. The fact that Resumestart can generate role-specific bullet points and score your resume for ATS compatibility removes a huge friction point. Combined with the mock interview prep and autofill for applications, this could seriously cut the time from "found a job posting" to "application submitted with a competitive resume" by 80%. For career changers or people in a serious job hunt, that's meaningful.
