Plantory

The AI garden planner that knows your climate and soil

Visit

Plantory turns garden guesswork into a plan. Draw your beds, paths, and buildings to real-world scale on a 2D canvas, then ask an AI assistant that actually knows your garden — its layout, hardiness zone, soil, and sun exposure. Works in 8 languages (EN, DE, FR, ES, IT, PL, CS, SK). Free Hobby plan and a 14-day trial of the full Gardener plan, no card required. EU-hosted, CSV/JSON export.

Very interesting, I could see this being extremely useful. With the right context I am sure AI could manage my garden well!

Hi Fazier! I'm Prokop, maker of Plantory. I spend my days deep in AI, and my escape has always been the garden — the one place nothing can be rushed. So I connected the two. Gardening advice online is generic: "full sun, well-drained soil" says nothing about your bed, behind your house, in your climate. Plantory fixes the missing context — you draw your garden to scale, and every AI answer is grounded in that plan plus your hardiness zone and soil. Live today: 2D canvas planner, garden-aware AI chat, plant ID and disease detection from photos, weather alerts, seasonal tasks, AI visualizations, 3D view. In 8 languages. There is a free plan and a 14-day full trial with no card. I'd love your feedback — what would make you trust an AI with your garden?

plantory has great potential and offers some useful features, but I encountered a few issues that could be improved. Please contact me so I can share detailed feedback and suggest the changes I'd like to see. WhatsApp: https://wa.me/447307349530 Email: [email protected] Telegram: t.me/rforrank

Grounding the AI answers in actual hardiness zone and soil data instead of generic "full sun, well-drained soil" advice is the right call - that's the exact gap that makes gardening AI tools useless in practice. Does the 2D canvas account for shade from neighboring structures, or just plant spacing?

Hi, I just discovered your project on Fazier and I really like the direction you’re taking. I noticed a strong growth opportunity that could help you reach more targeted users, especially through Reddit community marketing, citation building, and strategic email outreach. Many brands are missing thousands of potential customers because their audience is already discussing their problems, looking for recommendations, and searching for solutions inside niche communities. I help businesses turn those conversations into brand visibility, trust, traffic, and qualified leads through authentic Reddit engagement and conversion-focused email strategies. I’d love to share a few growth ideas tailored specifically to your project. Best Regards, Olayinka Adeoye +1 479 739 7382 (WHATSAPP)

Sounds cool! I'm not really into gardening, but I'll start getting into it soon. I'll give Plantory a try and let you know how it goes.

The clever bit is grounding the AI in your actual garden — layout, hardiness zone, soil, sun — instead of generic "plant tomatoes in spring" advice you could get from any chatbot. Drawing beds to real-world scale on the canvas basically turns your garden into structured context the model can reason over, which is a much better setup than free-text prompting. Genuine question: does the assistant handle companion planting and spacing conflicts as beds fill up — e.g. warning when two plants shouldn't be neighbors, or when a bed is over-planted for its size? And does it re-plan across seasons (succession/rotation), or is a plan a single snapshot? EU-hosting + CSV/JSON export are a nice touch for anyone who wants their data portable.

Very cool, I could easily find my house and only took me a few minutes to outline the structures and lawn areas. Could AI have done the tagging for me? Still playing with all the features. Looks great.
