Hi Fazier! I made PhoneScanPDF because every upload form seems to want a PDF under some size limit, and most scanner apps want an account or send your documents to their servers. This one runs in your browser: take a photo, it finds the edges and cleans it up, then saves a PDF or JPG at the size you need. It also puts both sides of an ID card on one page and can pull text out of a scan (English and Arabic). Free, no sign-up. Feedback is very welcome, especially from anyone fighting strict government or visa upload portals.
