This started at home, not as a business idea. My son began drawing seriously around age eight, and his pictures were genuinely good — good enough that I wanted to do something with them. He was excited about it, and once I tried turning his drawings into AI art, my other kids enjoyed it too. At first I was just using ChatGPT and other AI tools with custom prompts to do it for him. But that's not something an eight-year-old can do on their own — someone has to write the prompt, manage the tool, sit with them. I wanted the opposite: something a kid could pick up and use themselves, generate their own pictures, and then show the whole family what they made. The joy I watched my kids have doing this themselves — not watching me do it for them — was the whole reason to actually build this as a real app instead of just a fun weekend thing with my own kids.
