I’m Pablo, one of the makers behind NOTVM. The idea started with a very simple frustration: AI is incredibly powerful, but most of the time we still have to stop what we're doing to use it. We copy something from an email, document or website, open an AI tool, paste it, explain the context, get an answer, copy it again and go back to work. We kept asking ourselves: why are we taking our work to the AI? Why can't the AI come to where we're already working? That became NOTVM. NOTVM is an AI layer that lives on top of your computer. It can understand what you're looking at, what you've selected, what application you're using and what you're trying to do. You can speak and have it write directly where you're working. You can ask questions about what's on your screen, analyze documents, prepare contextual replies, remember useful information and, with your permission, perform actions across your workflow. Our goal is not to build another chatbot. We want AI to become something that's simply present while you work — able to see, hear, understand, remember and act. We're also building NOTVM with a local-first philosophy. Whenever possible, processing happens on the user's computer, with the user remaining in control of their data and actions.
