I built NoteOperator because I wanted a simple Markdown workspace where both humans and AI agents (like Claude) can read and edit notes. The MCP support is built-in — no plugins, just an API key and your AI is connected. Free to use, sign in with Google or GitHub!

Awesome product! Is it free?

The built-in MCP angle is the most interesting part here. A markdown workspace is easy to understand, but adding scoped API keys for Claude or Cursor turns it from “another notes app” into infrastructure for human + agent collaboration, which is a much stronger story. What I’d love to see highlighted more is how permissions and version history work once agents can edit notes. Even a simple diff view, note-level agent scope, or rollback story would make the trust model much clearer for teams that want AI assistance without giving up control.
