Moshion

Generate motion graphics for videos from a text prompt

Visit

Moshion generates motion design animations for your videos, from a text prompt, in seconds.

It's an animated infographic tool that produces ready-to-export MP4 files from a text description. Made by creators (hi!) for creators: video essayists, travel YouTubers, documentary filmmakers, educators… The kind of people who need a polished explanatory visual layer in their content but don't want to have to learn After Effects.

You describe what you want. Moshion generates the animation and renders a video file, ready to drop into any editing timeline.

You don't have to fiddle with complex setups, MCPs, the terminal, token budgets or paying per refinement.

Moshion puts control back into your hands: anything can be changed so it fits your style: colors, typography, sizes, camera movement, filters…

Either you can describe it, and AI helps you change it, or you can use our simple interface for it. Don’t like the colour? click on it, change the color, done… no need to describe this simple change to an AI at all!

It breaks the frustrating credit-spending back and forth conversation with AI.

Features

  • Map animations: routes, region highlights, country comparisons, point-to-point journeys, country-level stat overlays
  • Concept animations: visualising scale or comparison (e.g. the difference between a million and a billion dollars, aircraft size comparisons)
  • Charts: line charts, bar charts (including racing charts), pie charts, and more (e.g. price of BTC and ETH over time, browser market shares, racing chart of most watched Youtube channels over time)
  • Text animations: channel names, lower thirds, titles. There's even a free text animation tool if you want to try it now.
  • Stat callouts: counters, amounts, dynamic numbers (e.g. an amount of money increasing)
  • Everything is exported as either a transparent-background or full-bleed MP4, in whatever colour theme fits your edit.

Use Cases

  • Youtubers use Moshion to elevate their content quality, without having to lear After effects
  • Startups use it to generate assets for their launch videos
  • Influencers and travel bloggers use it to show their journey on a map

Hi, I'm Guillaume. I'm a documentary photographer and video creator, and I have a bunch of YouTuber friends across different niches. We kept running into the same problem: if you want your videos to look professional, you either hire a motion designer, find someone on Fiverr, or spend weeks learning After Effects. For most solo creators, none of those options are realistic on a per-video basis. The workaround was to just skip the animated visuals entirely, which meant simpler-looking videos, or to spend disproportionate time on a 10-second map animation that most viewers won't even notice took effort. We built Moshion to fix that. You paste your script, and it suggests animations to include. Or you just describe what you want and it generates it. The output is a proper MP4, ready to drop into any timeline. The other thing I wanted to get right: once the animation is generated, you shouldn't have to re-prompt every small adjustment. I've used enough credit-based AI tools to know how quickly that gets frustrating. Change the font, whoops, that's a credit. Move the text left, another one. So in Moshion, direct edits (colour, position, size, typography) happen through a normal interface. The AI is there for generation and bigger changes, not for things you could do faster with a click. The goal was to give solo creators the same visual quality as a team, so they can spend their time on what actually matters: telling a good story.
