Cutting weak takes automatically is the part I'd most want, and also the part I'd most want to check. Before the render, can I see which takes Monty dropped and pull one back? Sometimes the "worse" take has the better energy. I'm also curious how you hide the jump cuts after removing pauses: punch-in zooms, b-roll over the cut, or both?

I kept losing evenings to editing 40-second clips I had already filmed, so I built Monty to take the boring half: it cuts the pauses and weak takes, times captions to the speech, adds music and b-roll, and hands back a finished vertical master. It is in closed beta, access opens in waves, and the honest state today is that the editor works while publishing connections are enabled per account. The focus on footage people actually filmed is refreshing, especially for founder updates where authenticity matters. For speech captions, can a creator correct technical terms or product names before the final 9:16 render? I would also want to know whether captions support languages beyond English for teams posting the same demo in different markets.
