MoeMail

Hi Fazier! I'm Beilun, the maker of MoeMail. It started as a side project because I was tired of handing my real address to every site that wanted a signup, and the existing temp-mail services either had no API or shut down without warning. MoeMail is open source (MIT) and runs entirely on Cloudflare, so anyone can self-host it for free; the hosted version at moemail.app is free too. The features I'm most happy with are the Webhooks and the OpenAPI, which let test suites and AI agents drive a real inbox. Happy to answer anything about the Cloudflare Email Routing setup or the architecture.

The webhook + OpenAPI combo is the standout here — most temp-mail services stop at a web UI, which makes automated e2e signup testing painful. Question on the self-host route: does Email Routing handle catch-all addresses so a whole domain can feed one worker, or is each mailbox tied to a specific generated address? Also curious how you handle attachment size limits on D1/Workers since they cap payload sizes pretty aggressively.

Open-source temp mail with webhooks and an OpenAPI is a rare combo — most disposable inbox tools are closed and ad-riddled. The webhook bit is the interesting part for automated signup testing. Is there a self-hosting docker image, and how long do inboxes persist?

Open-source and self-hostable email tooling is rare these days. How do you handle deliverability for people running it on a small VPS - any built-in warmup or SPF/DKIM checks in the setup flow?

Self-hosted email with a modern UI is a combo I did not expect. How is resource usage on a 1GB VPS - comfortable or tight?

Photo-based renovation estimates could be a great pre-screening tool for agents. Do you plan to support before/after comparisons so owners can visualize the renovation, not just price it?

Free and open source mail infrastructure is a public good. Is there a hosted option planned for people who want the product without the server maintenance?

Disposable email that actually looks clean is rare. The inbox UI here is nicer than most permanent email clients I have used. Any plans for custom domains on the temp addresses?

I use temp mail constantly for testing signup flows, and most providers get blocked by every form. Good deliverability on the addresses matters more than fancy features. How often do you rotate the domains?
