Loopcast

Run a 24/7 YouTube live stream from the cloud

Visit

Loopcast runs a 24/7 YouTube live stream for you from the cloud. Upload your videos, put them in a playlist, connect your channel and press Go Live. The stream keeps running around the clock, even with your computer off. No OBS, no server to manage, no stream keys to copy.

An always on stream gives new viewers something live to find at any hour, which helps a channel pick up subscribers while you sleep. Every new account gets a free trial so you can go live before you pay.

Hey Fazier! I'm Stephan, a musician in LA. I built Loopcast because I wanted my band's music playing live on YouTube around the clock, and every way to do it meant leaving a computer running OBS all night or renting a server and babysitting it. Loopcast does it from the cloud: upload your videos, make a playlist, connect YouTube, and it stays live 24/7 with your computer off. Our band's channel runs on it now. I'd love to hear what you would stream, and any feedback on the setup.

Running a music channel 24/7 from the cloud instead of leaving OBS on overnight is the exact problem my band hit too. One question on the free trial: is there a cap on playlist length or stream hours before it kicks in, and does the stream drop at all during a YouTube-side reconnect?

The no-OBS, no-stream-key angle is what makes this work — running a 24/7 stream from a playlist in the cloud means a musician or lofi channel can stay live while their own computer is off, which is exactly when discovery happens. The stream stats (watch time and subscribers gained per stream) are the right feedback loop for that use case. One suggestion: since multiple streams to different channels is already supported, a per-stream schedule view showing which playlist airs in which window would make it easier to plan a day of programming across channels.

The idea of looping a playlist 24/7 without leaving OBS running is really handy for ambience and lofi channels. How do you handle YouTube's content ID claims mid-stream — does Loopcast skip a flagged video automatically, or does the whole stream get interrupted?

Running YouTube loops from the cloud instead of keeping a laptop awake is the real win here. How does it handle a stream dropping mid-broadcast — does it resume automatically or need a manual restart?

Loopcast offers an interesting solution for creators who want to run a 24/7 YouTube live stream from the cloud without keeping their computers running all day. Cloud-based streaming can make content delivery more convenient, reliable, and efficient for creators looking to maintain a continuous online presence.
