Koutuxia removes the background from a photo and hands you a transparent PNG. The free path runs a 47 MB BiRefNet-lite model in the browser (WebGPU where available, WASM SIMD elsewhere), so the image never leaves your device and no signup is needed. A paid cloud path handles finer edges, higher resolution and batch jobs. You also get one-click background colour swaps (red, blue, white), a photo restoration mode and direct transparent PNG export. Works from mainland China without a proxy.
