Kavim

Power user canvas for non linear AI thinking

Visit

Kavim is a desktop canvas for people who hate losing ideas in linear AI threads. It gives you a shared visual canvas where you can place notes, files, and AI chat nodes, link them, and split any conversation into clear parallel paths. Instead of losing context in a linear thread, you can see the whole reasoning map at once and keep exploring without overwriting earlier ideas.

Everything stays local on your computer. You plug in your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or other model keys, so there’s no extra subscription and your data goes only where you send it. No accounts, no central cloud, no forced sync. Just a fast, private workspace for deep research, structured thinking, and visually branching AI conversations.

Brilliant approach to a very common problem. I could see this being very applicable, perhaps even more so in the enterprise space, to many different roles. The key challenge I could see is communicating what it does succinctly. What drew me in was the phrasing "Power user canvas for non linear AI thinking", but while that peaked my interest, it doesn't really describe the value proposition here, and while it accurately describes the product, I didn't understand one bit of it before I saw the images. I'd suggest to experiment with that framing and try putting end-user value front and center.
