Hey everyone 👋 I’m the solo maker behind JOBMagical, and I’m really happy to finally share it here. The idea started with something I kept noticing. Students and recent graduates often have useful experience hidden inside GitHub projects, coursework, assignments, research, and personal projects. The problem is knowing which work matters for a particular job and how to explain it clearly. That is why I built JOBMagical. You can upload your resume, connect your GitHub profile, and add coursework, school projects, certificates, and other files. JOBMagical reads your material and helps you understand which parts are relevant to a specific job. It can then help create a tailored cover letter and resume bullets using your actual work. The goal is to help you explain what you have already done, rather than giving you generic text that could belong to anyone. JOBMagical also lets you search for jobs, view match scores, see which projects support each match, and keep your applications organized in one place. It can turn GitHub repositories into useful resume and interview material, and students can also bring in coursework from Canvas LMS. The part I cared about most while building this was trust. I did not want JOBMagical to simply produce polished sentences without showing where they came from. I wanted people to understand why a job matches their experience and which project or skill they should highlight. I am still improving the product, and honest feedback would mean a lot to me. What would help you trust a job match suggested by AI? Which source should I support next, such as LinkedIn, Google Drive, Notion, or another learning platform? What part of applying for jobs takes the most time for you? I will be around in the comments and happy to answer any questions. Thanks for taking a look at JOBMagical ✨
