Turn a character idea, reference image, or multi-view concept into a previewable 3D avatar asset. Generate models, add textures, auto rig, and keep iterating toward a VRChat-ready result.
VRChat Avatar Maker is a creator workspace that helps you turn a prompt, concept image, or reference set into a previewable 3D avatar asset and continue through texturing, rigging, preview, and download. It supports Text to Avatar, Image to Avatar, Multi-view, Texture generation, Auto rigging, and more. And just in minutes!

Just checked out Illustrious XL on Fazier and wow... The pipeline from text/image prompt to a fully rigged, VRChat-ready 3D avatar is mind-blowing. It handles texturing and auto-rigging in just minutes. Definitely a must-try tool for any digital artist or VTuber creator looking to speed up their workflow. Huge props to Young Lu and the team! π₯
Honestly, Illustrious XL is probably the best base model for anime art right now. Being able to generate straight at 1536px without messing with upscalers saves so much time, and the lineart stays super crisp. The prompting is great too since you can just mix normal English sentences with standard booru tags. Plus, itβs not heavily stylized out of the box, which makes it perfect if you want to train your own LoRAs. Really solid model.
The native 1536px generation without an upscaler is the part that stands out - keeping lineart crisp at that resolution is usually where base models fall apart. Since it's deliberately not over-stylized so people can train on top of it, do you have a recommended minimum dataset size for a clean character LoRA? Curious where the floor is before results get muddy.
