Hey everyone, Nelson here. The idea came from a conversation with my friend. He mentioned he was paying $60 a month for his gym membership and had gone maybe three times that month. I did the math out loud and told him that works out to $20 a session. He went quiet for a second and said that's more than he pays for a meal. That reaction stuck with me. He knew he was wasting money in a vague sense but seeing the actual number made it real in a way that surprised him. So I built GymROI around that one moment. The whole app is basically that calculation made live and automatic. Your fee divided by your sessions. The number drops when you go, climbs when you skip. No complicated tracking, no workout plans, just the one number that tells you whether your membership is actually worth it. Would love to know if this resonates with you and whether seeing the cost per session would actually change how often you go. Happy to chat about the idea or the build.
