Frankly: Cards for Connection

Frankly is a deck of conversation cards for your phone. Nine decks, 522 questions, one question on the screen at a time. Tap a card and some of them open a deeper follow-up underneath. The whole 24-card Icebreakers deck is free, and so are the first five cards of every other deck, which comes to 64 questions before anything is asked of you. After that a single deck is $1.99 to $5.99, or All-Access is $24.99 a year with a seven-day free trial. There is no account, no feed and no sign-up. It works with the network off, because the decks are files inside the app rather than something it fetches. Written answers stay on the device, encrypted with a 256-bit key held in the iOS Keychain. The only network call it makes is to the purchase service that handles unlocks. No AI. Every question was written before release, and nothing is generated while you use it. Ten editions across nine languages, and it is the card text that is translated, not only the interface. English is native. Spanish, French and Ukrainian have had a full editorial pass without native sign-off yet. German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese are machine translation still waiting on native review, and the app does not pretend otherwise. iPhone only.
