Egmatic

From first scene to published 2D game, no code

Visit

Egmatic is a no-code editor for 2D games, built for solo developers and small teams who want to ship, not just prototype. Game logic is assembled in a visual node editor, scenes are built with drag and drop, and real-time preview gives instant feedback without a build step. One project exports to Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Web. The editor writes clean, versioned JSON contracts and the runtime is a separate engine on .NET 9 and MonoGame, so a game never gets locked inside the tool. The roadmap follows the same goal: player accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards without writing or hosting a backend. The product is being built AI-native, with AI assistance planned inside the editor. During early access Egmatic is completely free.

Comments

I started Egmatic after years of watching solo developers abandon game ideas at the publishing stage. The editor exists to shorten the path from an idea to a published 2D game: visual node logic instead of code, one-click export to desktop, mobile and web, and a roadmap aimed at accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards without hosting a backend. Early access is free, and I'd love feedback from anyone shipping their first game.
