DocuSmartly is a free, privacy-first PDF toolkit made in India. Compress, merge, split, sign, protect, repair and edit PDFs, convert PDF to and from Word, Excel, PowerPoint and images, and extract text with OCR.
Most tools run entirely inside your browser, so your file never leaves your device. Every tool is clearly labelled "On device", "Server" or "AI", so you always know before a file is uploaded. No sign-up is needed for the everyday tools.

Hi Fazier! I'm Pallavi, the maker of DocuSmartly. A year ago I wasn't a developer. I had spent 9 years at one company in an implementation role. Then office politics took over — my work stopped being credited, I was given copy-paste tasks, at one point I had to log every break, and finally a sudden PIP email landed in my inbox. I knew my capability, but I had lost my confidence. So in 2025 I started learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript on my own. As practice, I gave myself a project: rebuild a PDF tool like iLovePDF from scratch. Somewhere along the way, my own ideas started taking over. The biggest one: in India, almost every form asks for a self-attested Aadhaar or PAN copy, a signed offer letter, or a PDF under 100 KB — and most free tools want you to upload those documents to their server. So DocuSmartly does the work inside your browser. Compress, merge, split, sign and images-to-PDF never upload your file, and the few tools that genuinely need a server are clearly labelled "Server". When I showed it to people in February, they said it felt different and easier. We launched on 28 April 2026. Building it pulled me out of a very dark phase — it's free, no sign-up for the everyday tools, and I'd truly love your feedback on what feels clunky and what you'd want next.
