DjMirror Pulse is a Windows and macOS desktop app that combines real-time
audio-reactive visuals with automatic DMX lighting control. Everything runs
from one laptop. No VJ, no lighting operator, no second machine.
The audio engine analyzes BPM, musical key, song structure (intro, verse,
build-up, drop, outro) and 80+ parameters in real time. Visuals and DMX scenes
respond to the music automatically. You pick a preset, connect your audio
source and DMX interface, and it handles the rest.
It ships with a database of 24,000+ DMX fixtures across all major brands.
Compatible with Enttec, DMXKing, Eurolite and most USB-DMX adapters. Runs on

I'm Carlos, co-founder of DjMirror Pulse. My partner Jorge built the engine; I'm the one who kept showing up to gigs with two laptop and losing my mind trying to keep them in sync. For years I ran Resolume on one machine and SoundSwitch on another. It worked technically. But you spend the whole set watching two screens instead of reading the room. One cable issue and the whole show breaks. I kept thinking here had to be a better way, and eventually Jorge and I just built it ourselves. Pulse puts audio-reactive visuals and DMX control in one app. The lighting follows the music automatically, which means I can actually focus on DJing. We launched the trial in early 2026 and we're still in the early days. The product works, people are using it at real gigs, but there's a lot we're still figuring out — which setups work best, which fixture types people actually use, what the onboarding should look like.
