Paste any product URL and directree builds a full, structured listing in about 30 seconds: what the tool does, who it's for, integrations, pricing signals, screenshots, strengths and weaknesses, and competitors.
Honesty on every field
Every displayed field is labelled by how we know it: Verified (a crawled, checkable fact, stated as fact), AI-inferred (a summary or judgment, always clearly labelled and never disguised as fact), or Founder-edited (claimed and corrected by the verified owner). We use honest qualitative signals rather than invented precision scores - a number we can't stand behind helps no one.
Claim + backlink
Founders claim their listing to correct it and earn a do-follow backlink badge. Creating a listing isn't the same as owning it: anyone can submit one, only a domain-verified rep can edit it, and there's a report path for bad data.

Really like the idea behind Directree. The fact that it clearly labels what's verified, AI inferred, and founder edited makes the listings feel much more trustworthy than typical software directories. The structured information is easy to scan, and the claim process for founders is a nice touch. It still has room to grow in terms of the number of listings, but the transparency-first approach is refreshing.

The provenance labels are the strongest part of this. A useful next layer would be a small change history for each field: what changed, when, and whether the change came from a crawl, the founder, or inference. That would make corrections auditable without turning the page into a wall of metadata. Is version history on the roadmap?
