DATA HIT

AI visibility and seasonality tools for SEOs and analysts

Visit

DATA HIT Tools is a set of five visual tools for SEOs, marketers and analysts. Two show how AI answers treat your brand:

  • How much of your search demand Google now answers with AI, and whether those answers link to you;
  • How often ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Mode name you, with a margin of error rather than a single screenshot.

The other three turn search results and your GA4 or Search Console data into charts that show seasonality and timing a table flattens. Every tool has a free way in, and several load with sample data before you sign up.

Features

AI answers

  • AI Answer Monitor: how much of your search demand Google answers with an AI Overview, and whether that answer links to you
  • Prompt checks: ask ChatGPT a real question and see the full answer, the sources it cites, and which competitor it names instead of you
  • AI Answer Stability: asks five AI engines the same question 5, 10 or 20 times each, then gives your mention rate with a 95% confidence interval, your position, and your competitors
  • Cited sources per engine: the sites AI answers rely on for your topic, and how consistently
  • Topic scans (Pro): the brands and sources that come up across a whole topic, re-run weekly if you watch them

Search and site data

  • SERP Seasonality Map: 12 months of Google's top 10 for any keyword in one spiral, showing which domains hold their place year-round and which come and go with the season, with search demand in the centre
  • Seasonal Spiral: daily GA4 or Search Console data wound into a spiral, one turn per year, so seasonal patterns and year-on-year shifts stand out
  • Timing Grid: GA4 traffic by day of week and hour of day, to find your audience's peak windows

Use Cases

  • Find out whether AI engines recommend your brand when buyers ask about your category, and how that compares with competitors
  • Measure how much of your organic search demand Google now answers with AI, and where you're cited
  • Give clients a defensible AI-visibility figure with its margin of error, not one screenshot of one answer
  • Find the sites AI answers cite, to decide where to earn coverage
  • Plan content and campaigns around seasonal demand, using several years of your own traffic
  • See which competitors own a keyword all year and which only show up in season
  • Schedule ads, emails and social posts for the hours and days your audience is actually active
  • Report seasonality and AI visibility to clients or stakeholders with charts that need no explaining

Hello 👋 I'm Matt, founder of DATA HIT, a small UK analytics consultancy. These tools started as something I built for my own client work. I kept looking at GA4 reports and line charts that flattened the one thing clients cared about: when their demand actually peaks, and whether that's shifting year to year. So I wound daily data into a spiral, one turn per year, and the seasonal patterns jumped out. That became the Seasonal Spiral. The AI tools came from a newer question clients kept asking: "Does ChatGPT recommend us?" The honest answer is "it depends when you ask". The same question gets a different answer each time, so a single screenshot proves very little. AI Answer Stability asks five AI engines the same question over and over and gives you a mention rate with a margin of error, not one lucky or unlucky result. Every tool has a free way in, and most load with sample data so you can try them without signing up. I'd really value your feedback, especially on the AI tools. What's confusing? What's missing? What would you use every week?
