One-time purchase, local Markdown files, no cloud - this is refreshing. Most journaling apps lock your own writing behind a subscription. The ambient soundscapes in full-screen mode is a nice detail. Does it support custom folders structure, or is it one flat folder?

The local-first + plain Markdown combo is underrated, means your journal is actually portable forever, not trapped in a proprietary format. How does the map view handle entries written at the same location repeatedly, does it stack them or just show the latest?
