Turning Steam's lifetime totals into a real timeline is the insight here — totals tell you nothing about how your habits shifted. Honest question: how do you handle games with heavy offline hours, like Steam Deck in airplane mode? If the source data is patchy, does Coilr flag the gaps or smooth over them? Flagging would be the honest move, and I'd trust the analytics more for it. Also, an achievement-hunting vs completion breakdown would make a killer shareable graphic.

Turning Steam's lifetime totals into an actual timeline is the differentiator here — Steam's own stats flatten everything into one number, so you lose the story of what you played when. Curious how you handle family-shared libraries and offline play in the timeline, since those would create gaps. And the explicit 'not affiliated with Valve' note is smart — the Steam API dependency is the obvious risk, so historical snapshots that survive API changes would be the killer feature.

Having built a Steam import myself, the thing that caught me out was how many profiles have Game details set to friends-only. That hides playtime from the Web API even when the profile itself is public. How does Coilr explain that on first connect? Also curious whether the timeline starts the day someone signs up, or whether you can backfill anything earlier from the last-played dates.
