Claude Watermark

Check and clean AI text artifacts

Visit

Paste your text, get it checked and cleaned. Claude Watermark finds the artifacts that give AI-assisted writing away — the hidden HTML classes Claude's web UI leaves behind when you copy out of it, zero-width and exotic Unicode characters, smart punctuation and em dashes — then rewrites the passage so it reads like a person wrote it. Straight answers on Anthropic's text watermark too: what it actually is, which models carry it, and what genuinely removes it. Including the part most tools won't tell you, which is that no shipped Claude model carries the mark yet.

Use Cases

You drafted with Claude and want it to read as your own voice before you hand it in

You pasted from Claude's web UI into a CMS or AO3 and want the leftover markup gone

You want to know whether Anthropic's watermark applies to the model you actually used

You want a straight answer instead of a tool promising to remove something that isn't there yet

Comments

Helpful tool. Especially that it's trained on replacing em dashes which LLM's like to use extensively.

brilliant idea you have out there. curious if anyone have used this and have real experience sharing

Love it very much. And it's very useful.

I tink is useful just to start brainstorming

I built this after the Anthropic watermarking news broke and I noticed that almost every tool ranking for "Claude watermark remover" was solving a different problem. Anthropic's mark is distributional — a keyed bias on token selection — so the signal is the word choice itself. Stripping zero-width Unicode, which is what most of those tools do, cannot touch it. So I wrote the honest version. Two things I'll say against my own interest: no shipped Claude model carries the mark yet (it applies to models launched on or after 2 Aug 2026, and nothing qualifies), and Anthropic hasn't published a detector, so nobody outside Anthropic can verify a passage is marked — which means nobody can verify a removal worked either, including me. What the tool does do is real: it finds the artifacts that actually give AI-assisted text away — the HTML classes Claude's web UI leaves in your clipboard, zero-width characters, exotic spaces, smart punctuation — and rewrites the passage so it reads like you. Happy to go into the tournament-sampling detail if anyone's curious.

The [specific feature] is interesting because [reason]. One thing I'd like to know is whether [specific question]. This could be particularly useful for [specific use case].

Looks very helpfull to me

for me,it works well

The distinction between actual distributional watermarking and copy-paste artifacts is unusually clear. A before/after diff that separates invisible Unicode cleanup from the human-rewrite pass would make the result easier to audit, especially for citations and technical wording. Can users accept each change selectively?

Claude Watermark Your product has strong potential, but I found a few key improvements that could make it even better. I'd love to share my feedback and suggestions—please contact me at [email protected]

The honest framing is refreshing — most "watermark remover" tools overpromise and this one correctly separates copy-paste artifacts from the distributional watermark that isn't even shipped yet. The artifact detection alone (HTML classes, zero-width chars, smart punctuation) covers the real problem people actually hit when pasting from Claude's web UI. One suggestion: a before/after diff view showing exactly what was rewritten (invisible char cleanup vs. reworded passages) would make the output auditable, which matters for anyone using it for academic or professional work.

shipped it very fast

I see the potential in this product, good job!

this was such an odd move. even google says it doesn't care about AI content if it is useful.

Kinda love how simple this is lol. Just paste your Claude text in and it cleans up all the weird hidden stuff for you. Super specific tool, but honestly pretty useful if you use Claude a lot.

Interesting idea, especially with AI-generated text becoming so common. It’d be helpful to explain what each detected artifact means and how confident the result is, rather than just flagging it.

Cleaning AI text artifacts is a narrower job than most “humanizer” tools, which is better. The useful test is whether it only strips watermarks and hidden markers, or also rewrites style. If it stays detection-focused and local, it is easier to trust on client drafts.
