He started ranting, like properly ranting, about renders. More money, more waiting. He said sometimes the rendering takes longer than the actual design decisions. My two friends and I are engineers, and we couldn’t stop thinking about it. It felt absurd that in 2026 this still takes days. But we didn’t want to build something only one guy wanted. So we spent the next few weeks doing nothing but talking to architects and real estate folks. Almost everyone had the same frustration, sometimes word for word. That’s when we knew.
