CapyDraw started from a simple question: why does drawing feel intimidating for so many people, even though it’s supposed to be fun? I’ve always loved drawing, but I noticed that many friends (and kids around me) would say “I can’t draw” before even trying. Most drawing apps felt either too complex or too blank great for professionals, but not welcoming for beginners. So we decided to build CapyDraw as a gentle starting point, not a perfect tool. Behind the scenes, we focused a lot on lowering the “first stroke anxiety.” That’s why CapyDraw offers guided modes like photo-to-outline, dotted line drawing, and short, timed challenges. You don’t need skills or confidence to start—just curiosity. From there, the app slowly encourages users to build their own style through practice and play. We’ve been testing CapyDraw with kids, beginners, and casual creatives, and the most rewarding feedback has been seeing people finish drawings they never thought they could. That feeling is what keeps us iterating. I’d love to hear what you think, whether you’re an artist, a parent, or someone who hasn’t drawn in years. What makes a drawing app feel approachable to you?
