BuildRuler - Free material calculators

BuildRuler tells you how much to buy before you start a project: cubic yards and bags of mulch, tons of gravel, yards and 80 lb bags of concrete, board feet of lumber, stair stringer cuts, siding squares, BTUs and more, 80 calculators in all. Each one shows the formula behind it, many add a drawing to check your shape against, and the cost estimators give 2026 price ranges. Every calculator can be embedded on another site with one snippet, free. A monthly data page tracks building material prices from the official BLS producer price index. Free, no sign-up, no email.
