I built BreakCount because I wasn't happy with the way data is displayed in Whatnot or the way it integrates with traditional accounting software. BreakCount makes it easy to see per-show profit and track inventory / suppliers.

Refusing to show a net profit while a lot cost is missing is a smart choice, a wrong number is worse than no number. Does the pro rata split also handle a lot that sells across two or more shows, or is one lot always tied to one show?

If a seller corrects a purchase lot's cost after importing several weeks of sales, are the earlier show margins recalculated automatically? Showing which reports changed would make reconciliation easier when a supplier invoice arrives late.

The pro-rata cost allocation is brilliant - handles fair margin tracking across multi-show sales perfectly. The refusal to show net profit while data is missing prevents accounting errors that plague solo sellers.

Love that it refuses to show net profit while a lot cost is still missing, and tells you which shows are waiting on it. Most P&L tools quietly assume zero cost and the numbers look better than they are. Splitting lot cost pro rata by gross also seems like the fair default. Does the tax pack CSV keep the per-lot breakdown, or is it summarized per show?
