Why I built Axisure

I spent two years with ideas I couldn't build. Like a lot of non-technical founders, I ran into the same wall over and over: finding a developer who wouldn't ghost mid-project.

It wasn't a shortage of talent. There are plenty of skilled builders out there. The real problem was trust. There is no way to know upfront if the person you're about to hand your idea to will actually stick around and ship or disappear after the deposit.

I eventually learned to build myself, using AI-assisted tools. But that's not a realistic path for everyone with an idea worth building. So I built Axisure to solve the problem directly: connecting people with ideas to builders who are verified (LinkedIn, GitHub) and accountable through a reputation system that tracks follow-through, not just skill.

The goal isn't just matching people up; it's making sure the match holds.

Axisure is still early, and I'm building it in public. If you're a founder who's been burned before or a builder tired of being lumped in with the ones who disappear, I'd love for you to try it.

Use Cases

  • A non-technical founder with an idea has a concept but no way to build it; needs a trustworthy developer to execute
  • A technical founder needing extra hands wants to speed up development by bringing on a vetted collaborator or contractor
  • First-time founder burned before previously hired a freelancer who disappeared mid-project; needs verified accountability this time
  • A developer looking for real projects wants to build a portfolio or earn by working with serious founders, not one-off gig platforms
  • Side-project builder validating an idea needs a co-builder to turn a rough concept into an MVP
  • Non-technical solo founder pre-funding need to get an MVP built before pitching investors, without a technical co-founder
  • Startup exploring outsourced development wants an alternative to expensive agencies or unreliable freelance marketplaces
