Building community-driven public utiliti...

We built AORTrack to take the guesswork and anxiety out of monitoring Canadian permanent residency processing timelines. As applicants ourselves, we wanted a clean, dedicated space to track milestone progression and status changes clearly in one centralized dashboard.

As someone waiting on permanent residency in another country, I agree the anxiety comes from the silence between status changes, not from the steps themselves. Where do the timeline estimates come from: dates your users report, or the official IRCC processing times? If they are crowdsourced, showing the sample size next to each estimate (for example "based on 140 applicants in this stream") would help people judge how much to rely on it. A note on what usually happens right before the next milestone would also calm people down a lot.
