AEOeye audits whether AI assistants recommend your brand when buyers ask for one, not whether they can find you. You enter a brand name or URL, and AEOeye asks five AI answer engines (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews) the questions your real buyers type, blind, without naming you. It reports whether you were named, at what position, and which competitors got recommended instead. You get an AI visibility score, the full answer text for every question with your brand highlighted, competitor share of answers, and a prioritized fix roadmap with copy-paste llms.txt and schema. The free audit runs the Claude engine live with no signup; the $29 one-time full report adds the other four engines plus a PDF by email. No subscription.

Built this because "can AI find my site?" is the wrong question. What matters is whether it recommends you when a buyer asks for a tool like yours. AEOeye asks five engines the questions your real buyers type, blind, and shows you the actual answers. Free audit, no signup — curious what score you get.
Framing it as "does it recommend you" rather than "can it find you" is the right call, and running the free tier on one engine live with no signup is a smart funnel. A question from the other side of this: we publish an MCP server and got into a few AI-facing registries, and what we noticed is that assistants will sometimes describe our tool correctly while never naming the domain, or name a stale competitor because a listicle outranks us. Does your score distinguish "named but not linked" from "named with the URL"? Those are very different outcomes for a small site, and the fix roadmap would look different for each. Also, do you sample each question more than once? Answers drifted between runs for us on the same prompt.
Smart product idea. Important for anyone in today's world—especially for indie hackers who are keen to see how their product appears in AI search results. Personally, I don't like these bait-and-switch offers. At first, everything is free, and then later you realize you can't get any further. Very frustrating for the customer imho. But in general great job ;)
